Criterion has announced plans to release Benjamin Button as part of its hallowed collection. Hitting shelves in conjunction with a DVD version with  Paramount’s blessing, this development begs a few questions; with Europe not privy to Criterion’s catalogue bar the import route, does this mean Benjamin Button will merely receive a standard BD release? Or is this sparkling US release from Criterion simply going to be mirrored in the Euro edition?
